Cienega Soon is an imaginative illustrator, painter, and sculptor in her unnamed RL who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art every where she lives. Her works are often noted for their unique style, elegance, and technique. Cienega has developed an innovative style that blends precise realism with abstract expressionism. Cienega is accomplished in using her new found self taught skills in Photoshop to bring out the best in her virtual screenshot/photography, adding vibrant colors and depth to her virtual photos; "digital impressionist" art.

"My feelings on PS can only be an individual choice. How can a paintbrush be over used in an artist's hand? Who makes the judgment at the easel of any artist? ... the Artist alone! As an expression of my artistic creative moments I will use any tool or device to give greater detail or emotion to my work. All, comes from my inside. I am not recreating someone else's artwork even in RL photography. I take photos of what pleases my eye. I then manipulate those pictures by my angles, what pleases my eye, as I see them say something to me. I will bring my own spirit to my work in all mediums. I take photos of RL scenes and then recreate them in Stained Glass, Do I use glass too much? ... NEVER! I also do metal sculptures inspired by my photography, do I use to much metal?  ... NEVER!"

Cienega's illustrations have also appeared in The Looking Glass for Jack Lefebvre's stories.  Although Cienega loves to express her vision through art, she is also adept at creating commercial works and readily communicates the vision of her clientele.
