About the Artist
Arrived in Second Life® December 2006. Loging in from southern Calif USA. Finding the snapshot feature at the bottom of the screen as more than a quick moment saver. In June of 2007 she acquired her first photoshop program. Self taught, only blindly trying stuff and making mistakes. Some mistakes being worth saving and trying to recall them in a way to produce the effect again. Sometimes frustrating and mostly rewarding.
Cienega pulls no punches. She uses Second Life® as a canvas/snapshot and Photoshop as her paintbrush just as she does in RL with her camera when she takes photos of her travels. Explains Cien; "I sit and paint my version of my photo. My hand interprets what my eye sees deep inside the shot. To me THIS is my ART and my Heart turned inside out, capturing the beauty of what has been created in this Virtual 3D World by IT'S many talented gods ... Their Creations. What wonderful talent Second Life® has assembled. It really is worth capturing & hanging on a wall."
Cienega's artistic directions include; Graphic artist, painter & Sculptor in many mediums with wood, metal and stained glass.
